LIVE FUTURES REPORT 19/06: Comex copper off to fast start in new week

Comex copper prices rose for the third consecutive day on Monday June 19 with macroeconomic conditions beginning to turn more positive.

Copper for July delivery on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange gained 2.05 cents or 0.8% to $2.5845 per lb. The contract is now on a three-day winning streak. Meanwhile, in the precious metals space, gold for August settlement dipped $6.40 or 0.5% to $1,250.10 per oz....
