Italy takes hit in US steel flange import case

Imports from Italy bore the brunt of the US Commerce Department’s final determination in an anti-dumping case involving finished carbon steel flanges, with imports from India assessed lesser margins.

Two Italian producers – Metalfar Prodotti Industriali and Officine Ambroglio Melesi/ASFO – were assessed final dumping margins of 204.53%, Commerce said on June 23.
