EU stainless steel surcharges continue to weaken in July

Alloy surcharges in Europe for July deliveries of grade-304 cold rolled (CR) stainless steel sheet have fallen by €52-62 ($58-69) per tonne month-on-month.

The July alloy surcharge for 2mm grade-304 CR stainless steel sheet – compiled by Metal Bulletin based on data published by Outokumpu, Acerinox and Aperam – is €1,131-1,190 ($1,266-1,332) per tonne. In June, the alloy surcharge was €1,193-1,242 ($1,335-1,390) per tonne.
