China’s steel plate export prices narrow upward on domestic market rises

China’s plate export prices have narrowed upward as the local market strengthened further over the past week, although the increase was limited compared with those seen in other flat steel products.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for August shipments of commercial-grade, chromium-added plate was $445-450 per tonne fob for the week ended Tuesday June 27, narrowing upward by $5 per tonne compared with one week before.
