China’s stainless steel prices rise further on strengthening demand

China’s domestic prices for stainless steel continued to trend upwards over the past week amid strengthening end-user demand.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for benchmark 304 stainless cold rolled coil was 13,500-14,200 yuan ($1,990-2,093) per tonne including VAT in the major market of Wuxi for the week ended Thursday July 13, up 200-500 yuan ($29-74) per tonne from a week earlier.
