LIVE FUTURES REPORT 14/07: SHFE copper stocks decline slightly; zinc, aluminium inventories jump

Deliverable copper stocks at Shanghai Futures Exchange-approved warehouses decreased by 1,172 tonnes or 0.6% this past week to 181,632 tonnes as of Friday July 14.

This week, SIPG Logistics in Shanghai saw the most stock leaving its sheds – 6,766 tonnes of the metal exited its sheds – though this partially offset by more than 5,000 tonnes entering Zhongchu Wusong in Shanghai. The most-traded SHFE copper contract closed at 47,160 yuan ($6,952) per tonne on Friday, up 490 yuan from the closing price a week ago. This week, copper saw support from looming strike...
