BHP’s full year met coal output down 6% due to Cyclone Debbie

BHP saw its output of metallurgical coal for the year ended June 30 fall 6% to 40 million tonnes due to the damage levied on the network infrastructure of rail track provider Aurizon by Cyclone Debbie, the miner said in its latest full-year report released on Wednesday July 19.

The miner produced 8.5 million tonnes of met coal in the April- June quarter, down 27% year-on-year from the corresponding quarter a year earlier....
