China’s stainless steel prices up again on low inventory, strong demand

China’s domestic stainless steel prices have risen further over the past week on low inventory and strong demand.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for benchmark 304 stainless cold rolled coil was 14,600-15,000 yuan ($2,161-2,221) per tonne including VAT in the major market of Wuxi for the week ended Thursday July 20, up 800-1,100 yuan ($118-163) per tonne from a week earlier.
