South America's flat steel import prices rise on higher offers

Import prices for flat steel products in South America all increased this week, led by high-priced Chinese materials, Metal Bulletin has learnt.

Metal Bulletin’s weekly price assessment for hot rolled coil (HRC) imports into the region rose to $530-540 per tonne cfr on Friday July 21, from last week’s $500-520 per tonne cfr.
