Ukraine’s DMKD restarting billet output, exports to resume in September

Ukrainian steelmaker Dneprovskiy Dzerzhinsky Metallurgical Plant (DMKD) has resumed operations and is expected to start offering its September-October production billet for exports next month, market sources told Metal Bulletin on Tuesday July 25.

The mill, owned by Industrial Union of Donbass (ISD), had been idle since March due to disruptions to raw materials supplies caused by illegal railway blockades in the east of the country.
