CIS export slab prices climb on HRC demand, scarce materials

CIS export slab prices have gone up over the past week, supported by the upward trend in finished flat steel products as well as reduced availability of the materials in the region, sources have told Metal Bulletin.

Metal Bulletin’s weekly assessment for CIS export slab prices was $415-425 per tonne fob Black Sea on Monday July 24, up by $10 per tonne from the previous range of $405-415 per tonne fob.
