ArcelorMittal raises long steel prices $24 per tonne on high materials costs

ArcelorMittal’s European division has increased prices by €20 ($24) per tonne on all its long steel products for all new September bookings, according to a document seen by Metal Bulletin on Friday August 25.

Surging raw materials costs and rising consumption have led ArcelorMittal to increase its long steel prices again, the company said.
The latest increase comes just three weeks after the firm raised its long steel products prices by €40 per tonne.
