Cargill sells US metals business to Japan’s Metal One

Cargill has agreed to sell its US metals business to Japan’s Metal One Corp, the two companies announced in a joint statement on Sunday September 10.

The purchase agreement was signed on September 8, and the two parties expect to close the sale later this year. A sales price was not given.
