Queue at Access World ends in Vlissingen after six years

The queue to take aluminium and other metals out of LME warehouses in Vlissingen has vanished for the first time in six years, according to a London Metal Exchange report on Monday September 11.

The queue, which had been in place since December 2011 and reached a peak wait time of more than two years in 2014, was centred at Glencore-owned warehouse operator Access World (formerly named Pacorini Metals). The number of waiting days fell to zero at the end of August from nine calendar days in July and 203 days in January.
