ThyssenKrupp-Tata Steel jv to review production capacity after UK quits EU

The proposed European flat steel joint venture (jv) between Germany’s ThyssenKrupp and Indian-owned Tata Steel Europe will launch a review of its production network in 2020 after the outcome of Brexit is known, ThyssenKrupp ceo Heinrich Hiesinger has said.

“Brexit” is the name given to the process by which the UK will end its membership of the European Union. Tata Steel Europe has several flat steel operations in the UK.
