EUROPE SECTIONS: Northern EU prices rise again on low supply

Prices for Northern European domestic hollow steel sections have narrowed upward this week amid a continuing supply shortage, market sources told Metal Bulletin on Wednesday September 27.

This is the second consecutive week when market sources have reported that prices for the material in Northern Europe have been pushed up by a lack of supply. One trader said that his business was being affected by reduced stock levels of 3mm, 4mm and 5mm tubes.
