CIS pig iron exporters cut prices further on falling commodities markets

CIS exporters of pig iron have reduced their prices again this week due to the continued downtrend in global commodities markets, Metal Bulletin has heard.

Offer prices for CIS pig iron have gone down by $15-25 per tonne since the beginning of September, according to Metal Bulletin’s price archive.
Over the same period, Metal Bulletin’s cfr China Hard Coking Coal Index has gone down by $22.27 per tonne to $164.53 per tonne on Friday September 29.

And Metal Bulletin’s 62% Fe Iron Ore Index has fallen by $15.80 per tonne since early September to $62.05 per tonne cfr China...
