Southeast Asia import billet prices inch down on lower offers

Southeast Asia billet import prices have gone down over the past week with lower offers being heard, pushed down by the decline in China’s domestic semi-finished product prices, as well as the continued fall in raw materials costs.

No bids or deals were heard as buyers said they wanted to see more clarity in the market after the week-long National Day holiday in China, which started on Sunday October 1.
