China’s plate export prices fall amid fluctuations in domestic market

China’s plate export prices fell amid volatility in its domestic steel market following a week-long break to mark the country’s National Day.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for November/December shipments of commercial-grade, chromium-added plate was $535-540 per tonne fob for the week ended Tuesday October 10, down by $5-15 per tonne compared with a fortnight earlier.
