EUROPE HRC: Domestic prices slide in south on lower import offers

Domestic prices for hot rolled coil (HRC) have decreased in Southern Europe following the decline of import offer prices, sources told Metal Bulletin on Wednesday October 11.

Metal Bulletin’s weekly price assessment for HRC imported into Southern Europe moved down to €510-520 ($601-613) per tonne cfr main ports on October 11, from €520-540 per tonne ex-works last week. The assessment reflected the latest offers of the material from Turkey, Egypt, India and other parts of Asia.
