Taiwanese scrap import prices widen on more bearish sentiment

Taiwan’s prices for imports of containerised HMS-grade ferrous scrap dipped on the low end of the price range as bearish sentiments continued in the market in the week ending Friday October 13.

The National Day holiday that ran into the first two days of last week saw trading activities limited to the latter part of the week. Volatile market sentiments in the key steel market of China also limited buying activity.
