China’s HRC export prices up amid rebound in domestic market

China’s hot rolled coil export prices rose on Friday October 20 after the domestic market recovered some lost ground ahead of the weekend.

The day’s Metal Bulletin fob China HRC Index was $565.83 per tonne fob, up $2.16 per tonne from Thursday.
The recovery in China’s domestic market after three days of losses encouraged major Chinese mills to raise their offer prices for the export market by $5 per tonne ahead of the weekend, sources said.
