POLAND REBAR: Mills to raise offer prices further on limited availability

Poland’s mills have almost sold out their October-rolling rebar with prices holding steady, but they will try to push prices upward for November production because of limited supply, sources told Metal Bulletin on Friday October 20.

Last week, Polish steelmakers increased their rebar offers by 50-70 zloty per tonne.
Metal Bulletin’s weekly price assessment for domestic 12mm B500B-grade rebar in Poland was 2,280-2,340 zloty ($636-653) per tonne ex-works on Friday, compared with 2,290-2,340 zloty per tonne ex-works a week earlier.
