Price outlook dim for seaborne coking coal amid ample offers

Offers in the seaborne coking coal market remain aplenty, which have resulted in participants expecting a gradual decline in prices in the coming weeks.

A cargo of premium product is being offered around $180 per tonne fob Australia, while several index-linked offers are also awaiting firm bids, market participants said on Thursday October 26.
A few buyer sources indicated their preference for index-linked deals on expectations of lower prices in the coming weeks.
