LME WEEK 2017: New LME aluminium, ferrous, precious contracts to launch in H2 2018

The London Metal Exchange will introduce several contracts in the second half of 2018, including additions to aluminium and for the battery materials market.

The LME will bring key participants in the battery metals sector together to acknowledge the challenges and aim to build a battery metals consortium. It will then look to identify leading index providers in the market and in the distant future launch a futures market for battery metals.  “We have an exciting delivery plan for 2018.
