US Commerce Department's steel circumvention cases against Vietnam delayed indefinitely

The US Commerce Department has again delayed preliminary rulings in circumvention cases targeting cold-rolled and coated flat-rolled steel from Vietnam, a spokesman for the agency said.

“The preliminary decision on these cases will not be coming out today. ... It will be out soon, but there is no ETA," the Commerce spokesman said in an email and a call to American Metal Market on Monday, October 30.
The spokesman said he could not specify whether “soon” might mean a matter of days, weeks, months or an indeterminate amount of time.
