Rebar import prices in Singapore edge up amid absence of Turkish offers

Import prices for rebar in Singapore have edged up slightly over the past week in the absence of cheap Turkey-origin spot cargoes in the market.

Metal Bulletin’s price assessment for Southeast Asian rebar imports - which mainly looks at Chinese cargoes sold into Singapore on a theoretical weight basis - was $530-540 per tonne cfr for the week to Monday October 30, tightening upward by $5 per tonne compared with $525-540 per tonne cfr the previous week.
