Tokyo 2020 Olympics supporting Japan's steel demand, JFE Holdings says

The infrastructure demands of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games are expected to continue to support Japan’s domestic market steel, key producer JFE Holdings said in an earnings release on Wednesday November 1.

Building and construction activities on sports-related facilities in and around Tokyo are continuing, according to media reports. There are at least 41 locations scheduled to host sporting events in two main areas, which the Tokyo 2020 Games website said would be named the Heritage Zone and the Tokyo Bay Zone.
