Seaborne coking coal market still deadlocked

The seaborne coking coal spot market was mostly stable this week with many participants continuing to wait at the sidelines.

“I think it’s a bit of a stalemate right now. We have to wait a bit longer to get a direction,” an Indian end-user source told Metal Bulletin on Friday November 3. “The [coking coal] market is more or less stable since the congestion at the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal has eased slightly in comparison with last week.
