Zinc prices to remain firm over next few years, Nexa Resources CEO says

Nexa Resources, formerly known as Votorantim Metais, is “very confident” about the prospects for zinc prices for at least the next two years, according to the company’s chief executive officer (CEO).

“Prices should at least remain where they are today,” Tito Martins told investors during a conference call on Monday November 13. The three-month zinc price on the London Metal Exchange has increased by more than 25% so far this year, with the price closing the official session at $3,213 per tonne on Monday.
