Evraz North America raises steel plate prices by another $40 per ton

Evraz North America is increasing steel plate prices by another $40 per ton ($2 per hundredweight) after raising them by the same amount a little more than a week ago, Metal Bulletin sister title American Metal Market has heard.

The price rise is effective immediately for new orders, the Chicago-based subsidiary of Russian steelmaker Evraz said in a letter to customers dated Tuesday November 14.
