China’s stainless steel prices fall for second week amid nickel losses

China’s domestic stainless steel prices continued to fall over the past week amid losses in the nickel market.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of prices for benchmark 304 stainless cold rolled coil was 14,500-15,300 yuan ($2,186-2,307) per tonne including VAT in the major market of Wuxi for the week ended Thursday November 16, down 300-500 yuan per tonne from a week earlier.
