Home US Midwest copper premium logs first rise since March The US copper market noted some optimism for the first time in several months, with market participants at the American Copper Council’s (ACC) autumn meeting noting some upward pressure on premiums due to rising freight and borrowing costs. The US Midwest-delivered copper cathode premium increased to 5.25-5.75 cents per lb on Tuesday November 21, according to American Metal Market's assessment.
