UK SCRAP: Grade 5C prices buoyed by exports, scarcity

UK light iron scrap market prices have climbed again over the past week, extending a move higher from the previous week, thanks to buoyant demand in export markets that has tightened availability, sources have told Metal Bulletin.

Metal Bulletin assessed the price of United Kingdom grade-5C scrap at £80-105 ($106-140) per tonne on Friday November 24, an increase of £5 from the previous week.
