ArcelorMittal Dunkirk site set to achieve record high liquid steel output in 2017

Liquid steel output at ArcelorMittal’s integrated site in Dunkirk, northern France, will hit a record annual high in 2017, Eric Niedziela, the firm’s country head for France, said this week.

The Dunkirk site’s liquid steel output will rise by 9.68% year on year to around 6.80 million tonnes in 2017, up from 6.20 million tonnes produced in 2016, Niedziela said in a statement to the media in Paris on Tuesday November 28.
