LIVE FUTURES REPORT 04/12: Comex copper inches higher despite stronger dollar

Comex copper prices started the week in positive territory on Monday December 4, with solid Chinese data outweighing a bolstered dollar.

Copper for March settlement on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange inched up 0.90 cents or 0.3% to $3.1015 per lb. Trade has ranged from $3.0925-3.1180 per lb. Over the past few weeks, copper has bounced between profit-taking and timely buying to keep prices in an established range.
