CHINA HRC: Domestic market weakens further on tumbling futures

China’s domestic prices for hot-rolled coil fell for a second day on Thursday December 7 following the sustained decline in the paper market.

Domestic Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,220-4,250 yuan ($638-642) per tonne, down 60-70 yuan per tonne Northern China (Tianjin): 4,250-4,270 yuan per tonne, down 30 yuan per tonne HRC futures ceded more ground during the day, dragging down spot prices consequently.
