Turkey’s Tosyali to invest in new steel mill with 2.5 mln tpy capacity

Turkey’s Tosyali Holding plans to invest in a new steel mill with capacity for 2.50 million tonnes per year in Iskenderun, southern Turkey, the company said on Monday January 8.

The new mill will focus on replacing the country’s imports of alloy steel, bolt steel, wire steel, spring steel and steel cord, which total more than 1 million tpy, company chairman Fuat Tosyali said, although he did not offer any details.
