EUROPE BEAMS: Demand for new bookings falls away but mills maintain prices

Prices for steel beams produced in Europe remained flat this week despite a continued slowing of spot market business, sources told Metal Bulletin on Wednesday February 14.

Last week, domestic beam prices in Europe fell for the first time since November amid caution over falling ferrous scrap prices. But mills have left prices unchanged over the past seven days.
