TURKEY FLAT STEEL: Some prices up, demand still weak

Some flat steel prices in Turkey’s domestic and export markets have gone up this week, but demand was still poor, market participants told Metal Bulletin on Friday April 20.

Buyers were not expecting any further price increases, because there has been no sign of an improvement in demand and the products booked now will be delivered in June at earliest, which is the start of summer holidays in Turkey and its export markets.
