China’s daily crude steel output rises in early June

China’s major steel mills’ daily crude steel output rates edged up in early June, and their finished steel inventory levels rose as well.

Member mills of the China Iron & Steel Association (Cisa) produced crude steel at an average rate of 1.98 million tonnes per day during the first 10 days of this month, up 1.5% from 1.95 million tpd in the last 11 days of May, according to data released by the industry body late on Monday June 25....
