TURKEY FLAT STEEL: Some prices increase, demand moderate after elections

Some of the flat steel prices in Turkey’s domestic and export markets increased this week, with demand moderate after the elections on Sunday June 24, sources told Metal Bulletin on Friday June 29.

Domestic producers are accepting orders for September production, and have already filled most of their order books for the month.
Turkey held its general and presidential elections on June 24, which were won by the ruling Justice & Development Party led by Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
