Taiwanese scrap import prices stable on subdued demand

Import prices for containerized heavy melting scrap (HMS) in Taiwan remained unchanged this week on tepid demand.

Metal Bulletin’s assessment of import prices for United States-origin HMS 1&2 (80:20) sold into Taiwan was $335-340 per tonne cfr for the week ended Friday July 13, unchanged from last week.
