Australia extends AD duties on galvanized steel from China, Taiwan, South Korea

Australia’s Anti-Dumping Commission will continue to impose trade sanctions on imports of galvanized steel products from China, Taiwan and South Korea after August 5, 2018, although South Korean producer Posco will become exempt.

The extended duties will also not apply to South Korea’s Dongkuk Steel Mill and Taiwan’s Ta Fong Steel and Sheng Yu Steel, because they had already been granted exemptions, according to a document published by the Australian commission on Tuesday July 17.
