Sweden’s SSAB forecasts strong Q3 US steel demand

Swedish steelmaker SSAB expects steel demand will be strong in the United States over the third quarter this year, the company said on July 20.

“Despite the political turbulence surrounding trade barriers, we expect the outlook to remain good for the second half of 2018,” president and chief executive officer of SSAB, Martin Lindqvist, said.
