US secondary aluminium alloy, aluminium scrap prices step lower

Some secondary aluminium alloys and smelter-grade scrap prices in the United States have continued to step lower.

The prices for A360.1 and A413.1 both fell by 1 cent on the lower end of their ranges, to 109-111 cents per lb and 108-110 cents per lb, respectively, according to American Metal Market’s latest assessment on Monday August 6. “We are still selling all we make, but prices are slipping in the ingot world.
