CHINA REBAR: Domestic prices recover following futures gains

China’s domestic rebar prices rose slightly on Friday August 10 after futures increases in the early trading hours.

Domestic  Eastern China (Shanghai): 4,220-4,270 yuan ($618-626) per tonne, up 20 yuan per tonne   Northern China (Beijing): 4,150-4,190 yuan per tonne, up 10 yuan per tonne Rebar futures increased to a high of 4,268 yuan per tonne in the morning, leading to bullish sentiment among sellers.
