LIVE FUTURES REPORT 14/09: Comex copper prices fail to hold gains

Comex copper prices headed into the weekend on a sour note with the complex unable to maintain earlier gains because of a stronger dollar.

Copper prices for December settlement on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange dipped 2.10 cents or 0.8% to $2.6620 per lb.
