Brazilian automotive association rethinks forecasts for 2018 output, exports

The Brazilian automotive association, Anfavea, has adjusted its forecasts for production, sales and exports this year, to better reflect rising domestic sales and lower shipments to Argentina.

The association now expects automotive production to reach 3 million vehicles this year. And although this is up by 11.10% from 2017's 2.70 million vehicles, it is down from its previous downward adjustment to 3.02 million units made in June, Anfavea said late last week.
