NEWSBREAK: LME to prepare new warehouse discussion paper rolling back reform regime, sources say

A new London Metal Exchange warehousing discussion paper that will consider the possibility of rolling back some of the exchange’s reforms is to be prepared and taken to the market in the next few months, people familiar with the situation told Fastmarkets MB.

The paper will include recommendations to suspend the load-in, load-out (LILO) regime and queue-based rent capping (QBRC), and to instead simplify the exchange’s rules by introducing a requirement that LME-approved warehouses load a percentage of their metal out daily.
